On October 23rd of 2023, Demel was invited to speak with the students of the Sports Marketing class at Indiana University.

In his keynote titled “Its Got to Be In You”, Demel shared personal insight on his mental health journey while providing students with actionable steps and strategies he’s implemented for self discovery and resilience.

With graduation in near sight for the juniors and seniors in attendance, Demel deemed it necessary to focus on assisting them on how to hit the curveballs of life and soar in the direction of their professional and personal dreams.

Following the keynote, students had the opportunity to gain direct insight from Demel on his various experiences as it relates to sports, marketing, and creative storytelling.
